150 on dash sealed with a TL.

i live in Vegas where the home of FI car audio is and Scott (the owner) actually designed this system with me. i'm using 2 pairs of 6.5 RF components all RF amps (1 T30001BD and two 300.4), 2 runs of 0ga, two battcap 2000's, and the whole truck is dyna-matted. i do not have port noise as someone else had mentioned earlier, i also have a MLA alternator module custom made by Chris Minner at MLA (props to chris by the way) to output 15.5v, pioneer ipod h/u etc..

the box is perfectly sized for this sub it is 8.2 cu/ft tuned to 30hz, which was designed and built by FI car Audio boys as well and i believe they know what their talking about since they own it. the box is actually dual ported so from the pic i can see why someone thought there wasn't enough port area on it. the other side of the box has the other port hence eliminating my port noise.

the only reason the box is sitting on the seat is because in fifteen minutes i can put this truck back to completly normal seating arrangement by removing box and re-installing seat back.

if anybody else wants to through their two cents in anymore before they know what they're talking about, feel free

i wish you knew what your talikng about, maybe you need some schooling. it is very easy to hit 150 with an 18 getting 3400+ rms watts silly in a box this large (over 8 cu/ft), my guys can hit a 150 with a single 12" driver. ask Scott owens or Pipo (record spl boys if you don't know)

don't be a hater

Knowing the actual amp, you could very well be doing 150. But please, c'mon with those "many o SQ" awards statements. Upgraded alt? Cuz I sure hope you're not running a 15-16 volt system off the stock one...

That box/install looks like crap, not so bad if you're in high school - which you quickly denied with your "competition system". Even if you can pull the box to return to stock at a whim (good luck with 200-300 pounds ) the amp install sitting on the floor with trashy wiring looks god awful...how exactly is that box secured anyways...

Someone else mentioned it was a T2000 - don't get pissy.
Don't name drop - makes you look like a jerkoff not a rock star.

he said he has a new alt, hence 16V
i dont see anything wrong with the box itself; it doesnt have carpet on it...so what?
i gotta say i dont buy the sq competetions claim, but still thats a badass system

and i wouldnt really say thats name dropping if he actually built the box with Scott, i would say thats a legitimate response to your previous statements

Its tough to break 150 with 2 1508s on 2-4k RMS at 40-50 Hz. And while they may not be great SQ woofers they're one of, if not the loudest 8 inch driver.
I know. It was 2 JBL GTO804's. It was on a TL and at 69.5 Hz from a 4th order Bandpass. .05cuft in the back cabin, etc.

I built the damn thing.

still sounds like ur a hater to me. mentioning my FRIEND who happens to be famous in this area is not name dropping, it's to clarify that, as before, you do not know what your're talking about still and appear to be VERY jealous of my "high school set-up" if you know so much why do you keep asking questions about my set-up then, you should be all over this kid stuff bro.

to all the supporters of non-carpeted boxes -- (by the way it is painted now in three color stone fleck paint to match interior)
