150 on a meter, 18s, pickup trucks, and SQ don't usually mix well. What did you have for speakers/amps/HU? Must've been pretty impressive.

SPL i can understand, looks to be the whole point of doing that. But SQ trophies with that setup? Enlighten me.

You must have some serious port noise too.

x2 on noise - that is nowhere near the amount of port you need for a box/driver that big. And SQ and ghetto setups don't usually happen...

Also throw more power on that BTL.

X100 on noise! Its actually not helping at all having a port that small.

18" driver needs approx 81-85 square inches of port. (For 1 driver).

If this is truly an SPL setup, there should be like 200 plus sq in of port, walled off or at the very least not sitting on the effing seat. And I hate to break it to you but your probably not hitting 150s with a single 18 in a relatively small box with too little port and only 2k. Also no apparent deadening.

That's not that impressive FYI.

Unless you're doing it at like 20 Hz, or with an XPlod off 200 RMS, or a heavily deadened trunk car.

2 JBL 8's doing a 162 on dash is impressive.

That is pretty incredible, but I don't think JBL ever made an 8 that took over 300 RMS...so unless that score is at like 70 Hz or on a meter with adjustable sensitivity I'm gonna have to call BS - but hey you could be right.

Its tough to break 150 with 2 1508s on 2-4k RMS at 40-50 Hz. And while they may not be great SQ woofers they're one of, if not the loudest 8 inch driver.
