Not many have. The winner of last years main SQ comp runs them in his f250 with 3 way hybrid front stage and DD subs.

No, but I have a suggestion; perhaps you should read my posts closer and you'll realize I know where things are made.

Rainbow - not american
Hybrid - american.

Missing how these are separate. Oh wait they arent because they are in the same list. "Take a grammEr class".

Im really getting sick of your crap and honestly Im about done fighting this. So, look do this entire forum a favor (which we really would love at this point) and GTFO or shutup. Either/or we dont care. But, I know you wont because the attention is getting you off.

I know Hybrid is American and Rainbow isn't. Yes they are in the same list OF QUALITY BRANDS not a list of solely US made products. You're misreading the post. What crap dude? You're defending the only products you've ever used compared to my knowledge with quality and not quality products. You are entirely taking everthing I'm saying out of context. Everytime someone has called me out on here or asked why I answered them and they quit argueing after that. I guess it's your turn, yet you pretty much already lost considering you've admitted to only using products from the Orient. So with that being said you have nothing to bitch or argue about. You don't know the differences between say a quality amp and a mainstream one, but if you heard them being tested with the same variables your opinion would change undoubtably.

RED4X4 got me curious about this Wrath sub. I have been searching and searching for it. Seems it was to be made by Crystal Mobilesound. I can find nothing on it other than mention of it coming soon. This was in 2004. It seemed like it was going to be an SPL sub and expensive. I can't find any mention of it on their website and it is not in their current lineup of subs. Also no mention of it on any car audio forums other than back in 02-04 mentioning "coming out with".

RED...Was this sub ever made? Any links you could share for more info? If you want to say it is better than the IDMAX in the same price range, I would love to see some more info on it.

seriously? you have answered many of my questions as well as other peoples and none of us have quit arguing, like low said, just shut up and stop pushing your beliefs on people, and you say you have a knowledge of quality and non quality products but where does this knowledge come from? for all i know you could have just read a few magazines and considered yourself a pro

The wrath's are the crystal mobile sound comp subs. Crystal used to make them, but they don't anymore. I forgot the name of the company that makes them now. It's the same as the Crystal, but without any brand labels. I bought one last year so they still make them. The retail was $380 when I bought mine last year. They're not specifically built SPL subs. They're 600rms and more of a bridge between a specific built spl sub and a sq sub. Very nice product.

They aren't beliefs dude. They're facts. Ex: a correctly setup new Butler tube amp will blow away a new Kicker amp in every aspect with the same wattage. Try it and then make an educated reply.

Never said it was that bad. I said it's over-rated. I tested one out one time. It burnt up in 10 minutes on an older autotek while a wrath kept on going and didn't even get hot. Remember that the wrath is 600rms and the IDMAX is 1000rms or so.

I would still have to see more info on the Wrath sub. There has to be a reason I can find zero info on it or the new make of it. Please show me links if you can.

And you tested one IDMAX and it burnt up so they are over-rated? That seems to be way to quick of a jump to conclusion. What makes them over-rated?

There should be some info on the web about them. They're on crystal's site under the name of comp.

I've heard them installed before and wasn't impressed, but because of the hype I thought maybe the problem was with the tuning or box in the few installs I've seen with them. So I decided to see how well built they were and how they sounded for myself and was very unimpressed when I tested one.

I see the comp on their site. Looks nothing like the pics I saw of the Wrath.

Burning up an IDMAX with only 600 watts? Something was wrong with the amp, sub or testing. I have had 3 different IDMAX's. Run them with anything from 200 watts up to 1200 watts. Never a problem, never missed a beat. Actually, I have been installing my own car audio/video for the past 20+ years and have yet to blow or burn up a sub or speaker. Maybe I am not trying hard enough. Anyway, I think we will probably disagree on this topic and that's ok.

I will stand by my statement always and say I believe Image Dynamics makes some of the best subwoofers for the money. And I would put their subs up against anyone else's.
