I was told by a shop owner who denied selling JL products because they're made in China. So I looked for myself an couldn't find anything besides the main office and warehouse location. Find the location of the plant in the US...they only have warehouses. Prove me wrong. They do however build their boxes here.

No one has proved me wrong on anything. Yeah if you can find the jl audio plant that makes the amps and subs let me know because I don't believe it's in the US. I'm not trying to argue with anyone. They're questioning what I'm saying without ever having used quality products. Audio guru's.....defending new kicker, polk, rf, etc products. That's a joke. No offense.
The other thing, RED4X4, is that a lot of companies that are considered high quality are made outside the USA.
I know and there are good overseas brands. I'm talking about the stuff from the orient like ID which used to be badass.

used to be? ID is still a great brand, and thats the thing you said you believe, just because you believe something doesnt mean its right, your telling us to get our facts straight but so far were the only ones who have found facts
Hmm...well it doesn't take 1000 Hertz components to sound good (since thats what you seem to think). The best system I've heard was Alpine type X tweeters ($60), dayton audio midrange ($40) and Image Dynamics OEM midbass ($90), and a single SI Mag v4 ($250). All processed by a DRZ.
Good HU. Not a fan of the new type x anything. The daytons have there place when setup correctly and a good price too. Never heard the mag.
I said believe because I was unsure. That facility doesn't make the amps.
The mag is no doubt the cleanest subwoofer I've heard. The sub disappears and blends perfectly. It is NOT built in the USA, so you'd probably hate it. The 20 dollar daytons sounded better than the 250 dollar hybrid L3s.
How were the Legatias setup? What amp? Because I had the 3 ways with the pro tweeter on an old autotek and linear power and they were ridiculously clean. Hybrid has won so many awards with both the Legatias and the Clarus series. I find it super hard to believe that the L3's sounded bad unless they install was improper.

I know Hybrid has won many awards/comps, and the L3s sound great. But the Daytons sound better. Mounted off axis on the dash next to the X tweets aimed toward the center of the roof, time aligned, fully deadened car. ID midbass in custom door enclosures, mag in the trunk.
