Narrowded it down, give me your thoughts

going in a 2004 f150(nbs) supercab. Former 2 10 jl w3v2 subs powered by memphis st1000d. I blew the jls and I was not to impressed with their output.
I now need new subs and this is my list of things I was considering.

2 Sound splinter rl-110
2 dd audio 1508
2 idq10 or 12
2 fi ssd 10's
wanted 2 stereo integrity mags but dont think I can wait till august for them to be ready

Im open to new suggestions but im wanting about a 70/30 spl/sq type performance. I will be lifting my back seat 2 inches or so. I listen to rap, hip hop, rock, christian.

Like in my other threads ive posted, im pretty desperate here, I want yalls thoughts on what I should do.

I disagree. Yes, they are some of the most accurate subs i have ever heard, but their output leaves some to be desired. My buddy has 2 12" IDQ v.2s in his chevy truck.

Now the IDQ v.3s, those are a different story.

haha ya go figure, even though alot of christian has some good bass. Matt Redmond, Chris Tomlin, tenth avenue north are the guys I listen to most, and kinda weird to say but they definitely bump.

I have never listened to the idq v3s do yall think they can outdo the sound splinter rl-i10s in terms of spl? and if not, is it close enough that I would rather have the sq of the idq vs the sq of the sound splinter if both are properly installed?

sorry if that doesn't make sense, its 6am!!!!!!

If you want a 70/30 mix of SPL/SQ, then the IDQ shouldnt even be on the list....or the new Mags by the way it sounds.

Considering what your looking for, I would probably just go with the Fi SSDs. Should do exactley what you want, and they are one of the lesser expensive products on your list too.

well, my buddy just got one IDMAX in his sport trac and the day he got it installed he got a noise violation. the cop said he heard him from 2 blocks away.....
i realize that an idmax is significantl more powerful than the idq, but ID makes a powerful sub, that is for sure

also, if you really want to pound, get an orion h2 or hcca
i just put an h2 in my truck and it kills.....on 400 watts! (the rms is 2000 btw)
with bassotronics "bass i love you" i can get about a 2 inch excursion...out of the 4 inch max. i cant wait to have this thing fully powered!

sorry, just had to suggest it

Ohh, no doubt Image Dynamics makes some great subs, but when it comes to the IDQ, its pretty much strictly an SQ sub, and it doesnt seem like that is what the OP is after.
The IDMax is an amazing sub also.

Wasnt trying to knock you or anything, I just dont think the guy would be happy with two 10" IDQs if he is wanting to get loud.

Yea, i hear ya.
but again, it all depends on your concept of loud.
cause there's a difference between loud and ear busting
and there is a difference between people who have heard alot of different subas, and only a few
its all relative

I dont want like ear busting, loud, but I definently want my windows and doors to shake a bit. The jls would do that some times, but I just needed louder.

I blew the jls on the jibbs- king kong song and it was because I wanted to be louder and I just couldnt get it from the jls!

So my definition of loud is, when I play that song again, I want to have to turn the bass down, because screws are coming undone. (but yet still maintain a partially clean sq type sound)

This may be getting confusing but im trying to put what I want in words, and not hypothetical numbers!

Budget is fairly open (not like dropping $10k) but for sub i want to spend around 500 but im alright going a bit above that to get the results I want, I have a memphis st100d amp, but if I need more powerful im alright selling that and getting a stronger amp.

obviously if I can spend less then thats awesome, that 500 was mostly to just set a limit out there!

how much room are you willing to sacrifice? does it have to fit under the seat?
i really do suggest the h2/hcca like i said, only 400 watts and it runs strong. im getting a 1500 watt amp this weekend. when i get that installed, ill be able to give you a more accurate description of how loud it is
