loudest subs for box under the seat

loudest subs for box under the seat

whats the loudest subs that have 5inches depth? im running 2 10in kicker comps and its not loud at all, and also would polyfill make these any louder?

im running a dual 10in box under the seat like a supercrewsound box and ive got a directed audio 500 watt mono amp, 150rms to each sub

You need an amp with some power

I don't think Kicker comps can take much more power than that.

As far as answering the original question, I'd throw a vote in for some 10 L7's. Many people complain about the SQ, but very few say they dont get loud. In the right box, the SQ can be good as well. One thing I will say though, they shine in ported boxes, which there isnt much room for under the seat. Not to mention, you'd need more than 500 watts to run two of them.

a) the comps can easily take 300RMS each, more then double what hes giving them...
b) L7s will not fit under the seat period, without a seat lift.

c) to the OP---> without a seat lift, you arent going to anything crazy loud under there.

so u say i could fit some L7 with a seat lift and build a box for them. does those seat lifts make it look weild or anything? and how loud are u talkin about with the L7? loud enough to hear from outside the truck?

No matter what you do, you will need more power than you have.
Why not get a quality amp now, see how your current subs sound and go from there
