I'm sure it will be a great product I just couldn't justify switching. I absolutely love the kenwood I couldn't be happier as a matter of fact. The only thing I wish it did have but I really dont even need is nav. Otherwise it does everything I need. I kinda wish you could load a picture as your background too but hell i paid 550 for it shipped brand new with wiring harness and dash kit! You can't tell me that isn't a hell of a deal. I might upgrade to a dnx7100 when the time comes for a new vehicle but I def am staying with kenwood. I'm considering getting the Sirius adapter too but am still on the fence.

I hear ya. I bought a refurb 7019 with a Square Trade warranty for around the same $550 shipped. I got one unit in, put a DVD in and the unit locked up with the screen down and the DVD still in. Would not do anything. I emailed the place I got it from on ebay. Sent it back and they sent me another unit out the same day they got the busted one back. I have had the new one in for less than a week but, it's working great. Still trying to figure my way around with all the menu's. The 7019 does allow you to store 3 of your own images which is cool. I am using a 60 gb iPod and it works flawless. I love the video support. I never have to touch the iPod to access any music or video I have on it. I got a gift card from Best Buy for Christmas and ordered the Bluetooth adapter over the weekend and I ordered the Sirius adapter this morning. The only thing I do not like is the Sirius adapters have gone to a two box kit with the Kenwood KCA-SR50 and the SC-C1 universal tuner. Good thing is, neither require external power like the Sir-Alp1 did. Both of those new toys should be here this week. That is one thing I loved about my factory radio was the Bluetooth. Did not have to worry about missing calls with the radio cranked.

To top it all off, it looks outstanding!

I did not know that. Do you know if that is transferable from radio to radio or is that just on one radio. I have switched Sirius receivers 5 or 6 times over the past couple of years.

I am not sure but I believe the life time subscription is to YOU as a person. I will have to ask the Sirius rep next time her comes into the store for some clarification. If you call and ask them about it i'm sure they will give you some better info. One of my co-workers did it and it was $400 and he broke it into payments. Hell for a lifetime subscription that aint bad it pays for itself in about 3 years. I'm sure its only for one radio, but its just like a cell phone or anything else you will upgrade the unit so when you upgrade the service will be switched to your new unit. Say you have three receivers, one in your car, one in the wifes, and one at the house. I think you pick one to have it on and then the others you would have to pay a monthly on. But dont quote me

500 dollars gets you 1 lifetime subscription that is transferrable through three radios.

Radio 1 breaks you pay 75 and it is transferred to radio 2. R2 breaks 75 and R3. R3 breaks you pay 500....

Well, I figured out KKR was dead on spec with 3 cu ft. And I wouldnt exceed that. As far as a cut sheet havent gotten there. my free time is all of 7-10 min between customers asking questions about GPS.... AND ITS GETTING OLD!

Ill get you the port length and as much as possible by tom.

P.S. You know me too well... Gotta put my 2 cents in

arent GPS questions the most annoying? I refuse to sell tom tom's because I think they are trash. I sold 23 nuvi260's in a day. Thats probably our most popular model, i'm sure it is with yall too. Then you have those ignorant *** people who have heard of tom tom and seen the price on the one and you cant talk them out of it even if you show them its a piece of trash.. Oh well
