WOW. Has anyone made their own "custom" style box for the center console?

I was and still am too cheap to pick up a $400 JL Audio STealthbox 10" setup. Mine is carpeted and recessed a little bit so I have not lost all storage space, just most of it. I would recommend reinforcing with padding/filler of some sort the sides of the console as they flutter a little bit around 60Hz and below because of all the air movement. Also, you have to cut out the carpet below the console. This makes it much louder and helps cool the sub. After all, who's going to see it?
Correction: $550 + for the JL 10". By the way, the Slobaric 8" L7 plays louder than the JL 10 W0 in their box too.

However, I will try to find those old "sub box project" pictures somewhere.

prior to the L7 Kicker, I had my round solobaric 10" in a box that I pieced together to match the exact dimensions of the original black plastic console liner. Also, my dad's 97 automatic f150 has a sub in a box on the floorboard in the middle under the a/c controls that butts up to the front of the bench seat. It looks really nice, almost normal if I didn't know better.

They don't make round solobarics.
