Sub woes... Seat lift?

I still haven't decided on a sub yet, and I'm seriously thinking about a seat lift..

I can use the 2.5" seat lift and then be able to use my JL W6 10"s, right?

Is it worth the work? Hard or easy to install?

It's not that hard to install and gives you so many more options. I'm not sure if you know, but I was able to get 2 JL 10W7s (forward facing) to fit with the seat lift. Are your subs W6v2's or the old W6's?

Older W6's..

How does it effect leg room, head room, back window, etc?

I wish I would have gotten a set lift and a custom box honestly. In fact if I get this job coming up I am going to sell my box and get a seat lift and a new one.

Dude, you don't need a seat lift to fit the older W6s! The have a mounting depth of just under 5".

quick question. I have a solo-baric L7 (square) year before they were silver. has anyone fit on under a seat before. And if not. what are the options. i was considering disasembling the 60 seat and making the rear 40/sub/40, would require sewing and ****. but has someone come up with something cleaner?

I got one of these I'll sell you for $50 (plus shipping). It doesn't have wire terminals, but those can be purchased for $2 each at partsexpress.com.

It would be less than $20 (I think), not positive...I'm in San Diego, so I would think less than $20. I just shipped my other one to Colorado (that needs a seat lift) for $20.

I'm at work and will be home Wed. night to find out exact shipping cost.

I'm 5' 10" and I have plenty of room. Someone over 6' might have a problem, I don't know.

The seat back stays in the same postion as so the headrests do too.

Im sorry, I like to make fun of short people. My best friend is like 5' 8" and we usually just refer to him as "the midget"
