Anyone ever use this Supercrew box? Sub question

Has anyone ever used this box or one from Car Audio Factory?
Supercrew Box

Also, what 12" subwoofer would you reccomend? It has 0.81 cubic feet of air space, but only a 5.5" mounting depth.

Also, I was worried about the small size of the box. Do you think that it would rattle or move around too much?

The box says for 10" or 12", if I were you I would put 1 10" in it and call it a day. I wouldn't go any less than 1.0 cuft on and 12 no matter what the speaker manuf. says it can do.

I just like the deep bass that a 12 puts out. I don't think a 10 would sound as good, but I have never had a downfire box before.

Well get a DVC 10" sub with the right ammount of air and it will sound alot better than a 12" in a small box.

In that box you are going to run into mounting depth issues. I don't know how much money you are willing to spend, or if you are willing to remove your back seat to put your amps on the back wall behind the seat.

Theres is a box from lucky7audio on ebay for the 05-06. I would check into his store and see if he makes any enclosures for your model year, becuase he has ones with 6" mounting depth.

In an enclosure with that little amount of air space, I would go with a high quality dual voice coil sub becuase most of them on the market are capable of putting out alot of bass with a small amount of airspace. Kicker makes a new round competition dual voice coil sub that is capable of making some serious noise. I am sure Jl Audio and other brands alike are capable of the same.

There are some options for you to think about, I would really put some time into it becuase there is so little space for subs in our trucks, but the right combination can make some really amazing sounds.

Yeah, I have been talking to a guy on ebay who makes boxes for my year trucks:
Ebay box

I am going to settle with a 10" sub due to the little space. I'm going to upgrade to the Kicker Comp VR 10.

sub box

Supercrewsounds.com

I have the double barrel (for 2 10s) with the extra mounting depth (1.2 cubic feet I believe). My subs are Phoenix Gold Octane ZR series and they are loud
I have 250 watts rms going to each. I would probably be pretty happy with one 10" or 12". Image Dynamics makes low mounting depth subs that sound really good (IDQ series).

Box volume does not matter as long as it meets the specs of your subs. By the way, I own a 2002 supercrew.
