This is a great thread. I've been watching very closely because I'm planning to put a couple of 10W7s in my '05 SCrew. Keep up the good work!

Box is DONE (99.9%)

I pretty much finished the box today! I added the liner (Duplicolor truck bed liner) and cut and mounted the speaker terminals. I just need to contact JL Audio about the bar type grilles. I want to buy 2 grilles for each side because I want 4 bars instead of 3 (2 long & 2 short). I added a pic of the bar type grille.

Thanks, I appreciate that. Son is doing ok and Bodhi came home today...and he is fine too.

Thanks, I know about those. They wont fit, they are only 1 1/4" (or 1 1/2") tall. Where as the JL's are approximately 3" tall.

You may have already covered this, but any reason you didn't choose the more common down firing design?

I couldn't allow for the mounting depth of the 10W7 (8") and still have enough room for excursion. The foward firing is the only way I could see it being done.
