Haven't tried the Pioneer flat sub yet but wit my experience with a flat sub from Dragon audio (European company) I would have to say that the outcome is promising. I have been impressed that a sub so thin could produce such good sound so maybe you will be good to go. Let us know how it does once you get it hooked up. I would be interested in investigating the Pioneer model further if it performs well.

Would you still need a box for that or can you install it as is?

F-ONE-FITTY, yes, I have tried them. 4 to be exact, behind the seat in a custom fibergalss box. The seats and armrest are still fully funtional. I ordered the correct color suede. As you can tell, it hasn't come in yet. Let me know what you think!

I have been looking for a sub that will fit under the back seat of my 99 scab. THis looks like it will work, but I am only looking for a 10" model. Do they make a 10"? ALso, how much was the 12", if you don't mind me asking?
