ThunderForm for 04 SCab

I have a 2004 Steelers Edition F-150 Super Cab. I am looking to put a sub and an amp in the truck. I'd like to put 1 10" sub under the seat in the back. What are the opnions on the Thunderform? Anyone know if the model listed for the 03 Scab will fit in an 04?

Also they listed an "amplified" version on their site, does anyone know how much power this is? Is it just an amp mounted on the box that I could replace later?

The guys at the audio place I go to have recommended the unamped single 10" Thunderform with a Kenwood Amp. This is a link to the Kenwood Amp:

http://www.kenwoodusa.com/product/pr...productId=2583

Any opnions on if this Amp is enough to power the sub? I have a Kenwood head-unit that will allow me to control almost all of the features of the sub from the head unit.

Thanks,

Matt

an 03 scab box will not fit the same in an 04 scab. the shape / size under the seat is different.

I'm putting one 10" box in, with some ideas off of dupois.
With my design, I'll have a box with .636 ft^3 vas.
That's unloaded. Load it up and it's closer to 5 ft^3, I'm guessing.
The design should fit directly behind the driver seat without going over the hump. That leaves me a place for the amp.

mjl135 I am looking for the same enclosure for my 04 SCab FX4. If you end up finding anything get ahold of me and I will do the same.

Rock On

I believe I am going to end up going with one of the boxes from http://www.supercrewsound.com.

They seem to be reasonably priced, good customer support, and the comments I've seen about them on this board seem positive.
