Organizing A Truck Show

Hey guys... so I got this idea last week. I was driving home and I saw this big car meet in a parking lot and there were a lot of sweet f150's out there.

So im wondering with summer coming up pretty quick... Would it be hard to get a bunch of guys to meet up somewhere and hold an event? Maybe talk to some guys on other forums. Im about to get my lift and tires put on soon and I would love to meet up with everyone and see yalls trucks in person. I understand it would be hard to get everyone to meet. Still I would be willing to drive 6-10 hours.

Ive got 5-6 friends that would want to join and bring there trucks... so lemme know what yall think!

If it can be held at South Padre Island, I know me and a few others in my area will go...

I just moved to 121 and 35E but I still consider it Fort Worth. Pat was good as always I assume.

I wonder what F-150 meet you noticed, it was probably organized in the regional forums here @ F150online or over at Fordtruckworld.com. Anybody know?

It wasnt an f150 meet... it was a big car event with all kinds of exotics and muscle cars... i just saw 10 or so f150s out there.

But if we could find a place where all of us texas/oklahoma guys could meet up. And anyone else that would want to make the drive!

I'm not driving 6 or 10 hours to go to a meet, but there are plenty of North Texas members on here. I think we could have a meet up here and have a good turn out.

I vote for meeting at Hooters in Arlington. Or anywhere else in the Metroplex. The advantage to the metroplex is that it's a large, central location for many people to come from. And, I won't have to drive more than an hour!

Out of curiousity, why not Hooters? Just wondering, not ridiculing.
