Didn't even see the regional threads... Cool. So where are y'all getting the best deals for mods and stuff? I haven't done anything to my truck yet so I'm starting the looking process...

It depends on what kind of stuff you are looking at doing and your engine size.

Exhaust = check around the numerous exhaust shops here in town, it will be cheaper to have them install muffler and fabricate the pipes. Magnaflow and Flowmaster seem to be what most shops in town have. To check out prices go to www.hottexhaust.com and look at the exhaust systems, add one to your cart and use coupon code fordtruck8 .

Intake = check out ebay they will usually be cheaper. Airaid and AirForce 1 work well with the *custom* tunners.

Tunners/Programmer = there are a bunch of *canned* tunes or you can check out the *custom* tunes. Troyer, Bama and Edge seem to be the norm in the forum.

Lift/level = autospring or ez lift seem to be the better of the level kits. The poly kits require you to disassemble the coilover setups. There might be more out there, you just have to search to threads.

Exhaust $200 (shop fab pipes w/ muffler)
Intake $285 (ebay)
Level kit $150 (lift & align)
Tunner $400
------------
approx. $1035

Sweet. I will make sure to keep y'all posted as I start the upgrade process. Looking at all the topics and extra goodies this forum provides, it makes you wonder where the hell you've been all this time...

You'll be happy with the lift for a few weeks untill you realize that the stock tires are too small and wimpy looking. Every time I get down, I park next to a stock dodge or chevy

I went over to this shop (Potranco Automotive) off Potranco, just outside 1604, and asked for a quote on a Magnaflow muffler welded to my stock. $260 for just the muffler change out. At first I explained I wanted just the Maggi and shop pipe (3") installed both back and forward. I said just to cut the up the towards the "Y" until they had 3". That quote was $750!!! I think this place is coming off my list...

Wow! When I first started looking midas and cordova tire shop quoted me $200-210 for SISO 3" shop fabbed pipes. I paid $140 for just the maggie install w/ stock pipes at midas.
