I will not give up!
Hi everyone, fresh and new to here. I have gained a ton of information on this site the past 2 yrs when I bought my first ford. So thanks to all of you. Hate to say it but it’s been a bad experience so far.
Bought 05 Ford F-150 5.4 with 135,000 miles. Warranty ran out. Then got a cracked block. I’m past that part so let’s not talk about it. Never figured out why anyways. So new motor at 140,000 miles. Purchased from Colt Powertrain with the engine install kit. Truck now has 175,000 miles.
Problems now:
Bucking!!!
This absolutely only happens when truck is fully warmed up about 30 minutes of driving! Idles fine. No codes ever.
What i have tried:
fuel filter
fpdm
coils all 8
tps
tbrottle body
transmission speed sensor
I probably missed something. So I’ll let you know as opinions start showing up
What I’m going to do next:
test fuel pressure
So I’ve spent a lot of money on this truck. I need this truck. Thank you all for taking your time out of your schedules to help ppl out and save us money. This is a really cool site and appreciate ppl like you guys.

Put the key in the Ignition and turn the key to the ON position, do not start the vehicle, now with the key in the ON position press the gas pedal to the floor very slowly once it bottoms out let off the pedal guickly, turn ignition to OFF and repeat these step two more times......now start your vehicle and go for a ride, report back if their is any good changes to your problem...
