At $225 it is kinda hard to resist. It's pretty much a direct swap out for my L7 that I got for free so I am coming out ahead. I'm getting 200 for it so I'm payin 25 out of pocket for the max. So the only thing left is to matt my headliner, spray my doors, and rewire everything. All in all its going to cost $250 out of my pocket for everything. I'm so glad I traded for that SAZ im super excited to get it. Now I just have to sell my XT4000

eh i'm stuck on what to do. I think I'll just run the single ID. I would love to do two new mags but theyre 260 each. So I'd be out about 800 bucks total.

BUY IT JWOOL!!
I've heard them man. They are not amazing by any means. They're a typical oriental waste of money.

I can't beat the price and it should sound amazing with that saz1500 In a sealed enclosure that is like 1.2 or so. I dunno who that guy is but I have never ever heard a negative word about the max. Infact I have heard that it is the most accurate clear sounding woofer ever produced and never misses a note. I have seen over a dozen write ups on it and they all say the same thing. Nothing negative. I'm interested to see what setup he comes up with that is "better" than two of the new mags which are supposed to be amazing as well or an idmax.
So all you've done is read about them? Have you compared them in person to other subs? Well I have. Spend your money elsewhere.

Anyways, ya I dont know who that guy is. He has been talking everywhere on things that Im not real sure he knows... My guess, is he has glanced over a few posts. Hears certain things and repeats them to sound smart...

Enough bashing, but I have only heard that IdMAX in a Ib style enclosure. But the numbers sound about right...
Sounds like you work at a place that sells mainstream car audio products. Have you ever strayed away from the Orient and tried US made products, Rainbow, Hybrid, etc. I highly doubt you have considering the recommendations you shell out. If you have you wouldn't have the same opinion as you do now.

No. I'm saying that US products and some companies from other countries are better in every perspective than oriental products. It's not that they're not made here. That has nothing to do with it. Products are cheaper to have made overseas and that's why companies do it. In doing so they lost most of the quality of the 80's and 90's. It just happens that the mainstream and most poorly built products are built in China.
