Woowhoo!

The script is worded to honestly say that I know of the flyer and its offer, not to say that I have actually received one. Their understanding may be that I had the flyer mailed to me. It's a little something I learned from the leadership provided by dealerships and banks with their marketing offers.

I still don't have Sirius working on my radio. This may be too much work for my interests. If I get a bill, I'll call and straighten it out. If I don't get a bill, then I'm done thinking about it. I won't miss it often enough.

I did receive a bill on 12/1/09. I called and they got my radio working, but there was no adjustment possible for the few days I'm billed for but had no service.

My one year subscription will end 10/27/2010 because my billing period started 10/28/2009. I guess I should have asked for it to start on my next billing date. They did adjust the price down to $71 because the first month was almost past.

I got a second bill already today, which said I had not paid the first bill.

Yesterday I received my 11/28 statement which now included a $2 Invoice fee. The total is now $91.38, for my 11 months of service, and I need to send one more check for $2.10.

"Invoice Administration Fee: If you elect to pay by check or money order, we will
charge you an administration fee. The administration fee is currently $2.00 per invoice."

$165 a year here in Canada. Any promotions?

My free six months are up in December sometime. The price for one year here in Canada is $165. They want another $10 a month for my wife's Edge. I'm not aware of any special promotions. The $77 you guys are getting in the states is pretty good I'd say. If anyone knows of any special promotions in Canada would you please let me know. I really got hooked on no commercials. Can't really stand to listen to radio staions now.

I tried to renew again today as my service expired Sunday. I tried with two different people and nobody would deal. If I want it, the cost is $129.95. I am going to think on it awhile.. A company with stock prices of $0.61 seems a little slack. Plus they may have violated the SEC agreement when they became a monolopy, to not raise certain prices for a period of time. But I doubt they will belly-up as some analysts are predicting.

I'm hoping that's for a year. Right now I'm on the free 6 months trial. After a short ride with the wife, she fell for it and wants to get it for herself real bad. I've heard of units that you can use in the car and take into the house, I think that's what she's wanting. Guess I should start researching. She actually sat in my new truck and listened to some stations while I was putting away groceries and washing dishes! This could be serious, I hate doing dishes. Anyway, Ideas welcome regarding portable Sat radios, appreciate any advice on this. I mean I need help to get her out of my new truck!
I have the satellite radio with the docking unit and it works great just plugs into your cigarette lighter for power and set your car radio to the lower frequencies and it plays through your car speakers I reccomend the fm adaptor plugs into your car antenna then to the satellite radio a little more work but helps the reception and I have the home dock unit so I can play it through my house stereo also.

I just got off the phone and was offered three choices:

1) $77 for one year (They said they would waive taxes and fees, etc., so $77 "out the door.")
2) $20 for five months
3) Three months free, with a re-negotiate option in March.

Since I'm out of work and seeking a new position, free is a good price at the moment.

Andy

I have Sirius in my 08 F150 and a plug and play sportser we use on boat. When it came up for renewal they called and I told them being it was on a boat and about time to winterize I would renew in spring. I was told to save money I could put unit to sleep till when ever in spring I wanted. So I did from October to May it was to be asleep. Sure enough when May came around it was working. I decided not to subscribe any longer on that unit when it expired. I got constant calls wanting me back and I refused because I still received service for a year after expiration. It finally got me one day this spring while on boat. I'm not renewing but will use MP3 instead.

i finally called them again to re-up the sat on the flex. 2 hrs later i was still without sat radio but had the traffic???? anyway, i called (wife is too nice on the phone) and got a girl that spoke very nice English. told her my issues of the last 2 hours and ended up with Sirius travel link and a yr of sat for 110$. not as good as the 55$ for a yr for the 150 but better than the 289 I was quoted by the second person i talked to. i had to call back cause we did re-up the travel link cause my wife loves it and will be traveling along for the next 10 months, yet all they turned on was teh traffic alerts and updates..

i just don't get how they can fluctuate so much on price, between 3 different agents within 3 hours...

77$ a year Sirius

I just renewed my wifes sirius and the guy started out saying it was going to be 159 for hers and additional 109 for my 150. I mentioned the $77 deal and he said you know about that I said yes. He than had to transfer me to some other department and this other guy that spoke better english gave me no flack. I ended up paying $126 total for the both radios. 62 for my truck and 64 for my wifes taurus. He said they only offer the $77 deal to people that are getting ready to canx. Maybe he was just in a good mood but, he gave me no flack. Maybe when you go to renew just tell them your thinking about canceling there service.

Yeah that is BS, Right after the merger I got some thing in the mail that they were raising my price like $2.00 because of the licensing cost of the music they play. All I know is I am paying $26 a month for 2 radios. Cant seem to get the $77 deal either, but I have not tried to hard. I don't want to cancel because then they will charge me $15 per radio to sign back up. I will suck it up until Stern is gone and then I am leaving with him.
