Openclass, first you said 13.04, then 13.4. That makes a difference also. And im also curious how it made 295rwhp from the showroom. Could it be pushing more boost from something like a leaking wastegate? Really just curious.

Im only butting in because i am a big fan of turbo buicks mainly and it caught my attention.
i know he is very inconsistant. and he keeps saying i didnt tell him why the TTA had more power which i already did. pontiac had to change stuff in the engine like bigger pistons and things. dont know all they changed.

geez...THAT IS WHAT I TOLD YOU!!!! 295hp AFTER YOU DID YOUR MODS!!! THAT IS NOT "OFF THE SHOWROOM FLOOR!!!!" and you called me stupid. i told you, you would be more believable "IF" you could get your story straight. and to think all this started because i said something about my 96 t/a getting a 14.0@101 for a rating and you said "your 89 T/A ran a 13.04@104mph" which would be BS, if you would have said "TTA" to begin with, i would have believed you because, again, like i said before, they were all different because turbos in that many cars did not all have the exact same PSI, some were 1 or 2 PSI off which is a big difference from the 14.2 they were rated at. that rating was from the most common power output gathered. i also found that the most recorded out of a stock TTA was 301hp at the crank. you keep changing your mind about everything so just because you were right about the stuff that came with the car, doesnt mean i dont think you are full of crap still. all you had to do the first post was say your TTA ran a 13.04@104. and also, like i said before, IF you have a car that special, you dont leave out the important part like saying its a turbo trans am. so next time, when someone asks you what cars you have or if you want to post a drag time, get your car right. and if you will read the 2nd post i wrote towards your comment, you will see that i did say "IF its a 5.7L, i am calling you out, if it is a 3.8L i am NOT, and if it is a 5.0L, give me your address or your phone number so i can personally laugh at you for saying a 5.0L ran that time and speed. see? even before your story got chopped up into a million pieces, i gave you the chance to correct your mistake. plus comparing a TTA to a normal trans am is also a move made by someone who doesnt know about cars very much. and by the way, i will tell you why i learned all the ratings of the cars i know, it is because when i owned my 96 t/a i wanted to know what cars were close to mine in speed and such if i came up against something at a stoplight, i would know if i had a chance or not. so i looked up from many sources a lot of the cars that people own around where i live. i knew i would never run into a GNX or a TTA or porches or lambos. only reason i checked the TTA is because like i said, i love firebirds/trans ams. they are my favorite cars. except the 78-81 style, i dont like the front end. ok i am done with this arguement, you keep changing your mind on every post. i will not reply to any more about this subject. you have caused a hijack of a good thread. yes i am to blame also but i did not start the arguement. so i apologize to everyone else for letting this thread get hijacked and most of all, for being a part of it. and since i will not reply anymore to you, openclasspro...have a nice life.

lol, you just reminded me of my old high school baseball coach. he has been struck by lightning 3 times, twice while golfing. before practice we always asked him if he took his pills that day. if he forgot, he was kinda mean. thank god he only forgot to take them once that year. the amount of time he made us run was like triple when he forgot. hell if he forgot them on the last practice, i think i'd still be running

not trying to be a jerk but how else can i get info on cars? its not like i can go to a dealership and ask if i can test drive 15 of their cars so i can get hard data to post on f150 online. only info you can get without driving it is hearsay and when you get info from 6 different places that have the same info, you tend to beleive it compared to one person saying its wrong because he has one, but cant even be straight to people about what car he has.

no a 295hp car CAN make a 11.2 run. it is possible, just make 3/4 of the car carbon fiber, youll see 11.2 if you can hold it on the track. if a lotus elise was 295hp and had lighter body panels, it could see 11.2. i never said it wasnt possible. and i dont think the guy with the 13.0@100 in his SD is full of crap either. hes not the one that cant comprehend what i type. yes a 89 trans am with a 350 CAN run a 13.04, but a modded one. not a stock one. a 89 TTA CAN run a 13.04. i said that already...twice....now 3 times.....just in different ways..hoping one of them would click in your head...and you still havent gotten it.
