0-60 times?

man, thats a nice long mark. that tuner and bore-over must help a lot. ive never heard of a 4.2 being able to spin tire off the line in an auto. why did you get your bored over anyway? and did you have to get special tunes written for it?
also i never try to spin off the line. my truck hops very badly so i get on it but i dont floor it until my foot is off the clutch completely. on wet roads its ok most of the time. depends on the texture of the road.

actually with his tires and all that, it is pretty impossible for me to estimate plus i dont know performance specs about diesels....at all. only thing i can do is guess your 0-60. i am pretty sure i remember you telling me your hp a while back. cant remember. if you want a guess from me, list your tranny, gearing, truck model(XL,STX...),and if you have a dyno or hp estimate of how it is now, that would help too. i see you have your mods listed and your tire size. but i would still like to take a crack at it. hey just for fun, if anyone knows their 0-60 and want so see if i can guess it, give me your specs and mods and if you have extra weight like amps and subs and stuff. i just wanna see how close i can get. i already guessed someone's hp within 5hp just by him listing his mods a while back. lets see how good or bad i am.
i made 261 rwhp and 329 rwtq on the dyno. (all wheel drive dyno-shows lower numbers) 265/70r17, 3.55 lsd. supercrew, xlt. automatic. single 10" sub and single 500 watt amp.
im curious on your estimate!

to be honest, it would work better for me if you gave me the hp at the crank but i will still guess anyway. i think it would be around 7.4-7.7 seconds. thats my guess, but i really dont have too much confidence in that guess. but before you answer, if you have your hp number at the crank, let me know that. i will guess again.

ended up with 338 hp at the crank and 418 lb tq crank.(268 rwhp & 337 rwtq) kinda torquey. not going for hp but daily driveability.
i plan in jan going to the track to see exactly what im doing before the newer larger tires.

sorry been having trouble with my computer's firewall settings. wouldnt let me log on. finally almost got it. still wont let me sign into youtube but thats the only site. anyways thank you for getting the crank power. after seeing that i will guess 7.1-7.5 seconds. and to be really honest, when people have bigger tires than stock, i cant guess as accurately but anyways there is my input.

yeah let me know. id like to see how colse i am to getting it right. just so i am clear, i am not saying i can pinpoint it exactly, just a round-about guess. i would still think it is a successful guess if i am + or - .3 on either end. it really is hard to guess with mods because every truck is different. but if anyone wants me to guess theirs, let me know.

Low 5's on street tires. Mid 4's on slicks. Using a G-tech. Need to try again with the traction bars and 4,11's. The G-tech must not be to far off. This link seems to be pretty close. You folks that have been to the track will enjoy this. http://www.wallaceracing.com/0-60_equation.php
