I never really checked mine but according to that calculator.
0 to 60 is 2.68 with DOT street drag tires.

How am i doing at 12 seconds?? good, bad, where i should be?

97 f150 4x4 off road extended cab 4.6l The las time i went to the scrap yard, with the tool box and everything it weighed in at 5800 lbs.

Would new plugs, wires, and fixing my exhaust leaks, increase this time? Thanks!

Oh, and yes i know i shouldnt expect a fast truck, after all its a work truck, but i thought it should be a little better than this.

Ive got 3.55 gears, stock engine, 33's, straight piped.4x4 pushing about 8000# and pulled out a 8.5 on the dot. Not bad for 220 HP.

to all of those comparing the edge times on the street to the 1/4 mile times at the track, it could be more accurate than you think, bc from my personal experience drag racing the stickyness of the track would slow the truck down compared to a run on the street where your tires are not sticking to the track and causing more "drag". could be enough to skew the results by a couple tenths

Sounds more like a hilarious excuse for poor track times. Have you ever been to a drag strip? Its not like a glue trap for mice lol.

I have to agree. Lower powered vehicles ( especially heavy trucks) might bog down if they try to launch with the revs up. Supercharged trucks recover much better than stock trucks do in which he mentioned were talking a few tenths. Ranging 7.8 to 8.0 is very likely of a difference on a NA truck due to the track. Its happened to me if i try to hard to leave the line to quickly. Yeah i know i need a blower! LOL!
