When I try to upload a picture to an exiting album, I get invalid file.

This is a jpg image, I even tried to upload a picture that is already in the album, and I get the same error.

 

They have been doing some server upgrades which have caused some features on the site to be intermittently offline. Please hang with us as we execute these upgrades -- everything should be back to 'normal' soon.

Are there any things we need to be updated to our file to solve picture upload probs? It has been a while since I have uploaded a pic.

 

I'm getting the same problem, but it reads invalid file. I'll just try everyday because I have a few I need to upload.

 

Nothing you need to do. Their upgrading was affecting the database intermittently. Affected the search feature as well.

It's happening to me to.. Doesn't matter what pic i choose, it just says "invalid file"

I still get this message: Upload of file failed. Is this an issue still being worked on??

 

That is a different error than this thread was about. If your upload failed, I would suspect your file is too large, either in dimensions, or size.

Can you try some different files and see if that's the case?

I'm glad this issue was brought up, because I just uploaded all my 120 photos. It was a pain having to resize all of them within spec limits but worth it.

 

If you use Irfanview (free) you can bulk resize.
