Exclamation 1993 Ford XLT 2WD Lift Kit (Help Needed!)

I'm fairly new to the old Ford group! Bought a used 1993 Ford F-150. Going to put a 3 inch lift kit on it, as well as bigger tires. A couple questions:

1. Any recommendations on which lift kit to use? Where to purchase?

2. What size tires would work on a 3 inch lift kit on this truck? The current tire size is: P235/75R15 108S

3. I like the current rims on the truck also. If I had bigger tires, would I have to get bigger rims as well? Or could I keep the rims the same size and just increase the tire size?

Looking for something a little beefier, but still driveable. Any suggestions would be great thanks!

Me, personally, I like the truck just the way it is. That is a very nice looking truck.

I'd just get larger beefier tires for it, to give a more aggressive stance.

I'd go 265/75R15. It's about 2" bigger in terms of diameter.

It'll give you a nice thick sidewall, and fill the gaps in a little. It will also make your truck sit a tad higher too.

Go with some General Grabber AT2 or similar.

It all depends on how wide your rims are. Tires have a minimum and maximum recommended rim width.

So now I am looking at just doing a leveling kit for the front of the truck instead of an entire lift kit. I have seen a couple different responses: could I put 33" on it with a 2 inch leveling kit in front?

It all depends on your rim width. When you research tire sizes, you should be able to determine the acceptable range of widths. Then you can research whether they will rub.

I had a 1985 custom 5.0 LWB that I put 31 inch on to bring the speedometer back to near right after a differential change. had no problem with clearance, but it did drive and ride like a truck, more so than it normally did.
