Angry 1993 F150 flareside xlt -Wipers Skipping

so, my wiper blades are skipping...

the OEM wiper arms, i THOUGHT were done. so i bought these new ones, and instead of PIN ARM wiperarms, these are the HookArm WiperArms...
Good, cause i like Bosch ICONs, always the perfect clean, always...

the blades are 18" for Drivers and Passengers (so the book says)

So i ordered one ARM and bought ONE blade, it STILL skips...
on the DRIVER side, at eye level, of all the places!

Does anyone know why? is it the window that was not made right?
or could it be this series specifically wants a special brand?

its bugging me.
thanks.

Simple test pull both wiper arms off completely, turn on wipers and grab the stub sticking out and squeeze it. If it clicks motor is no good.
Otherwise if just a contact issue your arm is no good(no putting enough pressure)..

Hope this helps

The motor isn't skipping, those are good. The pressure on the arms aren't good. I bought new ones, they replace the pin arm with hook arm. Then bought some Bosch icons.

They still skip, its like the window has a concave spot in it....

It might! Aftermarket windshields don't always have the quality control of OEM.

Okay so you replaced the arm with a different style and are wondering why its missing a spot? Simple arms aren't right and wont put correct pressure you could try going smaller on the wipers and the pressure per inch will be greater..
Otherwise get the correct arms and wipers and it will be fine.

they are the correct arms/wipers.

the wipers are 18inches, each, the previous owner, actually had like a 21" - i might go that route.
