upper intake, throttle body

ok guys i have a 93 ford f150 with the 5.0 im looking for a spare throttle body and upper intake im looking to get them chrome plated for my show truck any one know anyone that has them for sale let me know

just go pull you one at a junk yard. I really don't think you would want to buy new or you would be bankrupt.

Yeah I was thinking about pulling one but I thought if anyone might have one laying around I would rather give them the money instead a junk yard

I thought they were aluminum, which is why some people grind & polish the portways. If so, chroming would not be an option.

Used to be able to get polished 5.0 intakes on that ebay thing all day long. Even though the truck intake is slightly different (and more desirable to Mustang enthusiasts) they're polish-able. At least somebody's out there doing them.

To get one chromed, you'd have to sand it all down smooth anyway. Power coating in "chrome" finish is another option, but still would need to be sanded smooth. But once you've sanded it smooth, you're most of the way to a nice polish job.

And they look sweet all polished up like that!

well i picked up one off ebay this thing is dang near brand spanking new for 20 bucks now just got to get a throttle body and have them chrome or polished
