how much does it actually shorten the shifts? I would really love to have this (may have to talk to the boss)

I believe the figure was 30-33%, so 1/3.

because most guys here with a M5OD. (with exceptions of course) are poor college students or younger haha.

Same here just bought a new snap-on box for work. Hopefully this will still be here when i get my taxes back.

So am I understanding that the shifter is still for sale? I kinda lost track after all the posts. Did you ever give a price? Again, forgive me if you did and I missed it. I was wanting one of these back 7 or 8 years ago when it just seemed like a myth. I have one of the ultra-rare '98 SuperCab LARIATS with a 4.6/M5OD ('98 was the last year of a manual Lariat). Thanks for the info.

Wow, that is rare man...mine is an 01 4x4 ext. cab 5-speed which is suppose to be pretty "rare" as well.

An m5od is an m5od, regardless of engine size.
