sweet. ruffn-it and jp150 we'll definitely have to do this. Everyone else is welcome to come too! Im only really familiar with Carolina Beach and Emerald Isle. I've only driven on Emerald once tho. But I am down there a lot. Im not sure how far down you can go. I know you can't go out to the point that far. But Id pretty much be up for wherever on the coast. Im looking at putting some 37" Mud Grapps on before I go.... Not sure how my truck is gonna like me for that, but Im thinking about a month out would be great, so I can get a couple more paychecks in too :P How does the weekend of June 19 or 26 sound?

 

19th I have a wedding to go to. and idk if im working on the 26th yet.

 

I will be in NC around 4th of July.... Im from Bath area, next to Belhaven or Washington or greenville if that helps any. But I will be down to hit some mud or the beaches, I grew up going to Ocracoke, nags head, cape hatters, and orgen inlet my whole life.. I like Ocracoke the best

i work both of those weekends. im off 4t of july too, and a couple other weekends in july

 

july 4 is gonna be packed. Ill probly be down there, but I dunno about going out there. I dunno how crowded it will be but jordan would probly know

 

Im actually live about 10 mins from Emerald isle...

July 4th there a Big mud race in Pantego the Fire department puts it on... not sure if ill have my race truck back out but well be out there with my uncles 1800 Hp truck though...

yeah I didn't get to go down last year but i was there in 08 and i went to that concert deal in cape carteret and it was slam full. I had two American flags streaming from the bed of my truck that year. That was fun. One of the rods I was using broke and I lost a flag. I went back and replaced them with iron piping or something like that and no problem since.... I think I will have to come up with a better way to mount them in the bed since I dont have the cut outs in the bed

 

On my race truck i run a flag and I got a peice of threaded rod run up from the bumper and I havent lost it but ive jerked it hard enough that i bent the rod (5/8's)

 

I went every year growing up. I live 10 minutes from there. That is my old stomping grounds...lol
