everyone else-we still planning on meeting at the gas station area before we head in?
Sounds fine with me. I will be doing some last minute work here at the shop, waiting for Mark, Dan and whoever else they bring along (I think one other guy is driving down with em, plus they will bring a passenger). They said they will leave RP around 10 or so, getting to my shop right around 10:30 then we will head out. Samantha can't head out until 12:30 or so, with her friends. The Jessica and someone (i think) is heading down around 3:30 or so. Also, Dan (with the over sized tires) is planning on bringing his Yota, so there is another one. All in all, we have 9 rigs saying its a "for sure" and a couple more still "trying" . I am stoked !

i think jame's main group and my group should be there around 3 assuming we leave around 1.im pretty sure well head into the park and hang close to the campsites until everyone gets there(i think) cause hes got friends coming latter. worst case youll have to drive around and find us in the park cause from what ive heard there is no reception in the park.

sounds fine man, ya we will all be slowly trickling down to Frank Raines as people get off work, get outta school or whatever other BS they have to get taken care of.

Madmax: do you have a good set of directions you have found ? I'm gunna need to print up a whole bunch for all my buddies, NONE of us have ever been there.

Also, my buddy Chris says he is "for sure" now. He will be driving his 07(i think) Dodge Ram 2500 w/ cummin diesel, towing behind it a crazy Jeep rock crawler I think sitting on a pair of Dana 60's and some HUGE *** tires ! So, thats another trailer/rig combo !

Oh, and worse comes to worse, you'll know where our campsite is. My truck will stay behind, my buddies PSD (silver) will be there, a newer Dodge and a few trailers, so it shouldn't be hard to spot !

RP to the park. I can find Lafayette easy enoigh but I can't find a good set of directions to actually get down into the park. I am sure we have posted em before, but I'm not trying to re-read all 400 posts !

I figured you, Turbo, or Josiah would have some good directions. I basically told them to come down south, and merge over to highway 5 south, and thats about where I get stumped !

np, its cool cause you can get an ariel view of the camp with the satellite view so you can get an idea of the size of the campground and such.

Wow, there are going to be a lot of us there. If half the people show up that are supposed to be there we will still have a good turn out. Just hope there is going to be enough room for everyone at the campground. What time do guys think you'll head out to the trails on Saturday. Just want to know so i can plan my arrival time accordingly. I was planning on being there around 10:30 a.m. I probably won't have anything to worry about anyways, because you will all be hung over and won't even wake up until 12:00

You'll be surprised Big ! We normally are up pretty early and ready to eat, then wheel !
Madmax can chime in on this one, even after a night of being stupid drunk, stumbling around, having to be helped into my truck, I was still up first thing and not even doing tooooooo bad !
Sunday and Monday is when it hurts !

You plan on being at the park by about 10:30 or so ? If thats the case, we will just do the same, and make sure we are all there by about that time. That way we can meet up with, do some interductions, eat again, and head back out !

I'm confused. I'm guessing the camp ground is in a seperate area. I was planning meeting you guys at the campground before you head out. But what ever works

OH and i agree monday is when it will hurt, and i am so happy i have it off to recover.

Well, I have never been there, but I assume (and guessed from the maps Madmax gave us) the camp is more like a tsaging area, usually right before any real trails. You camp there, then drive around the corner, or down a fireroad or something and start hitting the trails ! But i think that would be easiest, make sure at least some of us come back around 10:30 and wait for ya, that way if some guys want to stay out, we would know somewhat where they were and could get you then get back out there. Either way, Saturday I'll be at the camp around 10:30.

And I envy you !! Monday off after a wheeling trip ? Man, there is nothing better ! At least I have made a lounge upstairs in our parts dep. I have a small nightstand, a lounge chair, and some other creature comforts I can go sleep off the "weekend" !
