GREAT PICs! I love seeing the 04s in action. I am going down to southern Virginia this weekend and I am going to try and set a couple hours aside to take a powerline trail. Its usually a pretty muddy trail and I this time I will get some pics, even if it means getting one of the deer on the trail to hold the camera.

Where in Southern Va. are you going? I am from Norfok, and everyone around here is afraid to use their trucks. PLease let me know where those power line trails are, I will try to hit them on saturday or sunday. Sounds like it could be a blast. Thanks, always nice to find new places to go.

I actually got to go out twice over the weekend, right off route 1 in Bracey VA. There were a couple of small powerline trails (about 1 mile each) before they dumped out into someones back yard to solid woods (made turning around fun).
The trails were very very easy, mostly clay and some mud rutts about 6" to 1 foot deep. It made for some mud throwing and water coming over the hood in some spots. Anyways I was able to get someone to take some pictures this time but they were on a regular camera so its going to be a while before I get them back. The truck handled great. Same problem as before with the tires not cleaning themselves at all and making things a little slippery. Some of the trails were pretty narrow so I think I have some minor scratching down the bed (easy to clean up). Next time I go there I am going to widen one side of the trail so I can go down it as well. These trails would have been amazing if it had just rained. I went through some areas a couple of times just to deepen the rutts for next time. Good times.

In case anyone is in the area, the coordinates for these trails were 36.558N, 78.17W on Pashell Rd by Smith Creek off Lake Gaston. There are tons of trails in the area, just short, but fun.

Can't wait to see the pics Eddy! I guess you were able to find that deer to hold the camera for you. Those things never have digital camera's.

Alright, I finally got the pics in. They are in my gallery in the Misc section, but I had to put this one up. The rutts were decent, but after some rain the trail would be a lot more fun.

I LOVE IT! looks like a great time Eddy. That picture is eerily similar to the one I have of mine in the outer banks, like two twins separated at birth. That pups gettin' pretty big, whats his name?

Thanks Sherm, the pup is Reese. He is 8 months now and about 70lbs. He should top out around 90. That dog is all lab, all the way down the dock and into the lake everytime. Cant keep him out.
The trails were fun. I thought it looked like your truck too. I just need to catch these trails after it rains and dig them a little deeper.
