Re: Let see some offroad pics!

Okay Billybob150, These are fresh from my first excursion this last Saturday. We had a nice trip up to Paradise in the Rainier National Park here in Washington. I stumbled across this sign that led to an ORV park in Elbe. Just had to check out the performance of my new GY MTR's on Eagle Alloys and the new Rancho 5000 shocks.. :rocker:

Last but not least:

I know it's not all that technical, but I had fun getting her muddy and did the new tires and shocks work great.

Later,

Al

Hey dcovell,
I was just out there on Jan 21. Are the pics in your gallery anywhere near The Slot, coming up from Fish Creek?
I wish I had taken pictures when I was there, it was perfect desert weather.

The vB Code looks good. The only difference from how I do it was I used lower case. You might try this. Go to your gallery and double click on the image so it's big. Then right click on the image and select "properties" highlight the url for the picture, right click again and select copy. Then go to your message box and paste it in with the appropriate vB Code. See if that works for you.

BTW, Great looking truck. Can't believe the difference a couple inches makes.

xbwfo,

I am not familer with the "slot". Im kinda bad with names since I have only been off roading out there a few times.

I offroaded over 200 miles!!!! out there over 5 days on the thanksgiving weekend.

We stoped by the Auqa Calienta park and relaxed in the hot springs as well. It's a great trip and there are some trails out there that will challenge anyone. Plus with a decent 2x4 and some ground clearance you can get around most of the park. Most of those pics are of the drop off near the mud caves. I belive its called the diablo dropoffs or something like that?...

Offroad shots...

Those are some good photos guys-nice to see some pickups that aren't used as pavement pansies! Here's a few of my F250 from last deer season on the way into our camp:

This area isn't too rough. Mainly old farm roads and wooded trails. I had to keep stopping to open/close gates and that's when I took the pictures. I don't do too much recreational offroading-just when I need to get somewhere for hunting or fishin' mainly. Looks like some of you have nice places to go 4 wheeling though. That sand looks like fun!

MyFordTruck98 02-03-2003 03:55 AM

Ok, I got my pics working. Who ever said 2WD's can't go muddin'?
