if you can wait 45 days, I'll send you the front and rears for a '97 Auto 8.8 in 3.55 for the cost of shipping.

I'm getting my front replaced in 2 weeks and the rear replaced a month later. You can have the stock gears. There's nothing wrong with them to my knowledge, I'm just going to 4.10's.

no worries. I'll hold em for you. I have a 97 4.6 in 4WD with auto and both differentials are 8.8. I don't know what an "open" differential is.

97Triton4.6,

I found out today that I won't be able to bring my truck in to have the rear gears changed until May 29. The transmission guy I use is taking vacation from April 30th to May 21st, and is not scheduling more work until May 29th. I'm still willing to send them to you for the price of shipping, but I'm sorry it won't be the 45 days I initially thought. (I don't want to take it anywhere else because parts and labor is gonna cost me $100.) I hope this isn't bad news. fish
