I was thinking about getting a Kenwood 10 disc changer for mine, Plugs right in, between that and changing the speakers it should be pretty nice. Now all I have to do is figure out the computer to make MP3's.

Ken,

Where would you put the changer? I was thinking about doing a changer too since I really hate how you have to load the disk in this thing and would also like to do less changes.

Let me know what speakers you pick and how they sound. Maybe I will let you do the research and just follow you. I know so little about stereo systems, tune a Holley I'm your man.

I was going to get the bucket seat bottom for the right side and put a console in it, either expy or 150, although I like the Expy better. No bucket option was the only thing I did not like about the STX.

I'm not going as radical as you with my lowering, I did lower it down in the back 2 inches and I have a set of Lightning fron springs on the way.
I was looking at a couple of different speaker set-ups I'll let you know which ones I get

Post some pics when you get a change showing what it looks like lowered....I might be interested in getting some shackles to lower my truck if it looks good!

Thanks,

Adam

I really like the STX model, but don't want that sticker on there. If I get one, how easy is it to take that sticker off and get the residue off w/o messing up the paint? TIA

best thing i could think of would be a hair drier. Make sure that you use a plastic scrapper and nothing metal or you'll probly scratch the paint and clear coat. JMO though.

Decoy, I removed the stickers from my truck. Put the truck in the sun so the sticker gets warm. I tried the hair fryer trick but it didn't really work cus the stucker didn't stay warm enough as I was pulling it off. One of my stickers took about an hour and the other about five minutes. The first one took so long since the sticker material seperated from the glue and I had to rub the glue out with denatured alchohol. I just used my fingernails, wouldn't touch the paint with any other object. Just takes a little patience.

I know Simoli took his off because it was red (I agree, it does not go with the red). I was going to take mine off because the left one is going downhill, and is at a different height than the one on the right, but instead I have the dealer getting one to replace it. I need it for all the people that keep calling it a Harley Davidson, it is easier to point.

STX Sticker

Have you ever seen the reflections that come off those STX stickers? Every once in a while I park right and you see a reflection of it from the sun on another car and it looks crazy. I thought it was projecting on the other car at first.

Also, I can see my STX stickers aren't going to last forever either, they are already showing signs of wear and mine's not that old!

They haven't got my new one in yet, but I have 2 coats of wax on mine, I hope it makes them last longer.
I have seen the light shine off of it at the mall at night, and my porch light lights it up pretty good.
