I just purchased mine about two months ago! You guys are right about the 5.4.....hard to find! I searched dealer inventories of every dealer in Atlanta metro area and only found ONE dealer that had an STX in XLT Flairside Supercab model, in fact they had two a silver one and a burgundy one.

I opted for the Silver to match the wife's 02 Windstar

I love it! I had an 01 F150 Styleside Supercab w/ 4.6 before this......actually traded it in on an 01 Cobra and just traded the Cobra in on this STX truck! Feels good to be back in an F150!

Mustangs just aren't made for people over 6FT 250lbs! But they sure are a blast to drive!

BTW, I got mine for 24K and it stickered for $30,500!

You can make these dealers sell you these trucks at $3K below Invoice which is roughly $6K below Sticker....Just got to haggle with em a bit!

yea, we definitely need a forum for the STX's. i just got mine Saturday and love it so far. the Kenwood CD/MP3 player is an awesome player for a stock truck. anyway, here's a pic of mine:

 

any one intrested in getting the lighting thrid brake light for there stx. I bought one for mine and it looks awesome. Got really cheap for a dealer in AZ. If your interested let me know and i can give you guys the contact info.

 

How much for the Lightning 3rd brake light, I would like to put that on and Harley Corners, the match the headtights better than the Lightning corners.

i beleive that they cost about 77.00 from him. if you call you local ford dealer you will see that the charge about 250.00. just email him with a request his email is parts@fivestarford.com . he should get back to you in about a day or so.

This was with the Rebate of $3000 plus me taking in the printout from carsdirect.com on this particular model. Cars Direct gives you Invoice Pricing which is generally $3K off MSRP....so with that plus the Rebate I saved a total of $6K off the Sticker!

Cars Direct.com's price is 400 over invoice, but you are right it does give invoice price. They had to find mine so I ended up payind about a 1000 over invoice for mine, but getting the STX was worth it, But I wanted the 5.4 and that cost me.

 

Whats up. Just bought my 2003 STX should be her on tues Aug 5. Had to get the V8 in it and its silver. just wanted to know if anyone has had any kind of problem with them

 

I had to have the Left Fog light replaced, the adjuster was broke.

 

No Problems thus far with mine...got 3K miles on her!

Has anyone replaced there cd player in a 03 STX. I know its a alright cd player but i have a $600 one i would rather have in.
I was just wounder what you did to the kenwood adapter to make it work with your new cd player

 

when i brought mine to the car shop to have it replaced they said the would have to cut and then splice the new one in.

 

Yeah but the hard thing is knowing which wire goes where. other than that i know what to do
