Black honeycomb grille for 99 XLT

Does anyone have a black honeycomb grille for a 99 F150 XLT? Did Ford make one?

I don't think that the black grill was available for the 99's, but you could try getting one from a 2000, or do what I did and get the Lund Grill Insert that is black.

I am really interested in a black version of the 99 honeycomb grille. I have attached a picture.

jedatl,
Do what I did take it out and spray it black. Then later I put a speed grille on.

Jim,

Do you have a picture of your truck?

I was also looking at the Speed Grille and was thinking about painting it black.

Did you paint the grille yourself? Is it flat or glossy? Would it be better to have it powder coated?

Fountain Valley? I lived in So Cal for nine years in Mission Viejo and El Toro.

Also sprayed the Speed Grille black using rubberized paint to prevent chipping it is a semi-gloss black, but powder coat would probably be better.

They're not the greatest pics when I take a better one I'll post again.

Nice truck. When you get more pictures, I would like to see them.
