Talking Painted Windsheild Cowling! *Pics*

I couldn't stand staring at my ugly gray, faded windshield cowling anymore. So I decided to take time after work and take it off and paint it. I bookmarked this a while back:

So I used his step by step instructions and this is what I got !

Before:

After:

I got so excited with the end product I forgot to put the wipers back on before I took the pictures

Thanks Tardman91

Yeah guy before me didn't treat the outside that good and that is what GA/SC sun will do to plastic ... he treated the inside like a operating room it is spotless

I want to do the same thing. Any ideas on what to do about the missing rubber type gaskets on each end?

I used Krylon Fusion paint for plastic, I used the satin finish. I would recommend doing a clear I am going to pull mine off and apply a clear coat one of these days. NCSU 05 FX4 did his with one clear and one without and it started to fade with the one w/o clear. So that makes me wanna go back and do it so I don't have to go through the whole process over again

I have clear coat krylon fusion and it seemed to eat away the matte black that I had on my plastic.
