Cool 2003 supercrew mirrors swapped

HI guys it been a while but i really wanted the power fold and turnsignal mirrors like the newer f150 had, then I started studying pictures from 07-08 lincoln navigators and reliazed the doors looked the same compared to my 2003 supercrew so i bought a mirror and it bolts right up, only thing you have to trim a little off the outside door trim(rubber piece) to make them sit farer down, I painted the caps to match my red color they turned out great, I just have to wire them up, I have a expedition mirror switch with the power folding function on it and going to wire that in. I think the truck looks good with them on

Odd look w/ 03 body and 04+ square mirrors. Good job though!

Are you crappin me? Do you know how much trouble i had to go thru to get those on my 04+ bodystyle F150! I cant belive they bolt right up!
They do look a little odd bieng so square, i personally would have done an 03-06 navi/expy style mirror as they are a little more convex and rounder.

Great job bolting it right on though (mumbles under breath)
No seriously though, good eye on catching that.

They look great on the newer body style. they are just a pain in the but to get to work on them.
Here they are on my 06, and that entire thread is detailed on how i made them fit my truck.
Pics of mirrors on 06 f150
If you read that thread you can see why i cant believe they just bolted right up to his truck.

yeah they just bolt right up, the three studs line up perfectly with the holes in the door, I guess ford is still using the same sheet metal for the lincolns form the older style f150 stamping dies yeah I wasn`t sure about them after i first put them on, then after seeing them on there for a few days I love them

Are there wires already pre run from the factory for the turn signals even if you don't have turn signal mirrors? Also, where did you guys find the mirrors at a salvage yard? Again, really cool mod IMO.

mine was prewired for LED turns, but not all are. There have been a few members that go to do the led mod and find there is no turn signal wires there.
Its just a matter of pulling your door panel and checking.

I'll have to pull the panels and check then. Looks like it's time to start searching for a set!
