Thumbs up

Looks good, Nick!

I painted my lower valance about a month after I got the truck, I could not stand that ugly dark grey looking thing when the rest of the truck was red!

Nice pics of the bumper.. I won't paint mine because the salt and slush abrades it away up here, so it looks like crud after a couple of winters...

Now, on a side note...
Uh, you call that a boat??

Try this...

Or for a better perspective...

OK, I digress... sorry... couldn't help myself, but there are guys I go boat with around here that have dinghies bigger than that! (I swear! No joke! There's a guy that has a 45-footer with a 16 foot Boston Whaler for a dinghy, on davits, ON THE ROOF!!!)

Nive truck, though...

List of planned mods: Clear tails, torsion bar tweak, bug deflector, spray in liner, and a tonneau of some sort...

Hey Now!! No need to rag on the mans boat!

One mans Dinghie is another mans yacht!

That is kind of a weak excuse for not getting the valance painted, I painted mine knowing full well that it would probably need to be done again in 2 years.
After 18 months it is holding up very well.

BTW, I could almost swear I see light under the front tires of the Xploder. hehe

Question

Hey 99silversport,

Did Ford Dealer paint it for free as a production flaw? Or did you have to pay to get it done?
btw, looks awsome.

Cheers~!
