Talking Here's mine

Here's mine. Thank God I bought the product protection from Sear's. I had a CDX-M600 for over a year, and when I swapped it to my new truck the face wouldn't open. Took it back to Sears and they gave me a new 610- no questions asked. Saved me $350.

How did you post your picture directly onto this page? I only know how to insert an attachment.

Boss, that install looks great. I'm sure it sounds much better than the stock h/u.
I've got a question for someone who might know. Is there an aftermarket h/u that can control the stock cd changer?
Thanks in advance.

In order to hook up your stock changer to an aftermarket head unit, you would need to buy a head unit that is made by the same company as the changer. Even at that, most manufacturers design their "factory installed" changers to only work with "factory installed" head units. You are better off keeping your stock head unit (ONLY BECAUSE YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR FACTORY CHANGER), adding an amplifier, and replacing the speakers. You'll probably be happy with the sound after that. If you have any more questions let me know....

Thanks Boss, I hadn't really thought of just using an amp with the stock h/u. duh...
I had read a post (did a search and couldn't find it again) where someone mentioned what brand h/u to control the stock changer. But I think I'll get an amp and new speakers.

Boss,
Upload your pictures to the internet or make a gallery. Then to put the picture you want in a post, right click on the picture, hit properties....then copy the location of the picture. then when posting, hit the icon, in vB code section "IMG"....paste the location of your picture here, it will automatically insert the pic for you. try it out. hope it works.
