Anyone have any experience using Dynamat in hotter climates? I'd like to do my doors but heard that it can melt after a few years.

I live in Mississippi so our climates are pretty much the same. Did my back wall with Dynomat extreme a few yesrs ago when I installed my amps and it has held fine.

I had some questions from people familiar with sound deadening their trucks...

I have a huge box of leftover Second Skin Dampfilier Pro from my Mustang and was thinking of doing my SCrew. Doors will most likely be done today.

Is there any areas that are recommended? IE: Like the trunk of the Mustang? Is it worth doing 100% coverage?? I have never did the roof of a vehicle, mostly because I didn't want to pull the headliner. Would it be worth doing?

i found it very useful to do the outside skin of the doors....i dread the headliner idea as well but i wouldn't be of much use on that topic. never ventured to do the headliner

I got the front doors done this weekend. The one thing I can say is WOW!! The sheet metal used on (well, my) truck was a joke! I could flex the inner and outer skin with very little pressure.

3 layers later (one outer skin inside the door, one inner skin inside the door and one inner skin outside the door), I didn't notice a difference in noise/insulation like I did on the Mustang. I haven't done the back doors yet (waiting to get speakers first - tring to only pull the panel 1 time). Maybe that will make the difference - ALL 4 doors...
