New HU on the way

After a lot of shopping, I picked the Pioneer deh-p940mp from www.electronicscity.com (cheapest place I could find it). I should have it by Saturday...I can't wait.

That thing is sweet. I'd be afraid of touching the buttons though, with everything that CD player does!

The HU has already been shipped out, so I should have it on Friday or Saturday.

ED mailed my subs out today (sending me a brand new pair), those should be here by Friday or Saturday. Now I need to get off my butt and build a new box. I also have to buy an amp (sold my other one to a friend), but I'll probably have to wait until next payday.

Awww man.. subs and new head unit coming in shortly. Too bad ya got no amp just yet. Sure is nice to get all the equipment at once and put it in. But now you gotta let those nice subs sit there until you get an amp to power them.

Well, you know everyone is waiting to hear your thoughts on the new ED subs.. I know I am. So let us know what you think when ya get everything in and tweaked to your liking.

Unfortunately they are not the new line of subs. I have the old style e12k's. The original subs had a factory defect from the build house, so ED is replacing them for free under warranty. I spoke with Ben (the CEO of ED) and he said that he was sending me two new ones, I am assuming they are the old style...but if he sends me two of the new ones I will be one happy dude!
