I can't believe this crap...why can't people have respect for other people's opinions. If you think someone's opinion doesn't matter because they don't have "high quality" equipment then your wrong...I know I don't have the best equipment on the market, most people haven't even heard of the company that makes my amp & subs. Does that mean because I don't like a certain brand of car audio equipment that I don't know what I'm talking about...cause I do!

This goes out to everyone...I frequent this forum because its one of the only ones left that doesn't have all the bull***** drama. If people can't respect other people's opinions I'm outta here.

Respect everyone's opinion as if it were your own!

good call 2trucks.

I was being sarcastic (obviously) in the previous post encouraging the fight. This board has been very cool in my opinion because most everyone has been cordial and gracious in answering my questions which have usually been dumb since I'm very new to all of this. I have never owned a truck in my life until last week and ppl here have usually been very cool about answering my newbie questions and bearing with my little opinions. Not the case on a couple other boards, but thats life. Thats why this one is my favorite.

The bottom line is: everyone has expertise on different things.....Ill be the first to admit I dont have a clue when it comes to audio systems...which is why I ask you guys dumb questions about it. I try to learn from people who DO know these type of things. Just because most guys here know a lot more doesnt discourage me from posting...thats how you improve. Now, if any of you wanted to debate a motion offense vs. 1-4 high set...it might be a different story.

Anyway...the only thing that REALLY matters is if your system sounds good to YOU right?

How did this go from talking about a system to trying to make a bunch of old men fight. This is confusing. Btw What brand is considered high quality equiptment. All thought all brands had weaknesses.

This reminds me of a racing forum I visit. People acting like they are 12 years old. Give us all a break. I can't for the life of me understand why it bothers someone if so and so doesn't like their system, if they themselves like it. Should we all think the same way. I could name the equipment I have in my truck and I'm sure it wouldn't meet everyone's lofty standards. There is no way I could possibly care less. I'm the one who listens to it daily, so I'm the one who matters. If you own and like a piece of gear that someone else thinks is ugly, just as a matter of opinion, and that offends you, then you have a problem. Grow up, you're detracting from a nice forum discussion. By the way, if someone has $2000 to spend on a system, they should still audition until they can get what they want from their system. Leave your friends at home and get the stuff that serves you and your needs, as well as your budget. A step up in price doesn't always translate into a step up in sound quality.
