Gofast302,
Thanks for info. Purchased one from ebay. Yes it will work. Has not installed it yet. Started installing the controler, waiting for fan plugs from amazon.
Sorry did not get back with you sooner.

Quick update. The fans are down to $125 at Tasca. Here's a link. Mine have been running 3yrs strong. No regrets here.

I got a set from the junk yard that came out of a 2010 F150. But the only thing is they are loud. Kind really loud. Are yalls loud? don't know if I got a bad set of fans or if it normal. Thanks

They are if you run them at full speed.

What controller are you currently using? I installed efan from a 2012 f150 on my 08 lariat with a MADD enterprise controller that now only turn the fans on when the air condition is on. Thanks

Normal. They move serious air @ full song, as well as draw enormous current.

That is only one reason of several why you need to use a constant-temperature, variable-speed controller.

I am using the Painless F5 controller. Works like a charm.

Correct. The only time they are semi-quiet is when they are at 50%. Which btw is most of the time.

Did you go back to the original location for the a/c wire after the one at the black box didn't work? You stated the voltage may fry the controller so i'm not sure where to tie that one in.
