I'll try there tomorrow, the web site does not list the SS version, only the normal LL ones.

Yes that is them. Just got back from Auotzone, and they had them in the store.

Strange they didn't list them on the web site to do stock verification.

Had to listen to the counter guy tell the guy in front of me how he would sieze his engine if he put synthetic blend in with pure synthetic

Good glad you found em! I'll be putting mine in tomorrow. No time today...

Let me know when you get yours in and what you think.

Ditto here...if they are brighter - I'm doing the same thing Try doing one side then comparing that should give you a feel for the difference

Sylvania's site had a link to retailers that carried their specific product lines. Apparently it's accurate because I went to an O'reilley's that wasn't on the list and it didn't carry them.

Yeah those white lightning light bars don't do anything but look cool. I had one on my Ranger and I didn't even bother paying extra for one for the 150.

I added this one to my f150, its nice because it is flexible and conforms to the hump and is super easy to install. Just holds on with the tape and I haven't had any problems now for about 3 months.

I didn't really think the reverse lights added too much, but I also have the silver stars in my reverse lights and they helped alot.

Got the 3156 reverse bulbs installed tonight.

I will say they follow the Silverstar line for being a whiter light when compared to factory Sylvania 3156 bulbs.

The 3156 SS bulb installed on the driver's side, made the passenger's side factory Sylvania 3156 bulb look yellow by comparison.
Could not get it to show on the camera when taking the pictures. Only had my idiot point and shoot, so I could not adjust the f stop enough to get it to show, and wanted to get the door shut as not to have the garage cool off too much.

They have the same AMP draw as the factory bulb by the clamp meter check on both sides.

I would put it on par with trying 1 H13 factory Sylvania bulb to a H13 Silverstar bulb in usable light ratios ( obviously the 3156 bulb is a 27 W bulb, don't expect it to be SS9145 light output wise @ 45W, let alone H13 light output with the larger reflector ).

HaHA, SCCULLY what the hell does that mean? So are they quite a bit brighter for seeing better when backing up or not much brighter?
Still havent had a chance to install mine cause my truck is at the dealer getting a window fixed(under warranty).

I was trying to get at if you ever tried the Silverstar H13 headlamp bulb in one side to a normal H13 bulb in the other side comparison.

If you saw this side by side, then this is a good example in the ratio of the light delta from the 315 to the 3156 SS.

The fog lamps are a 45W 9145, so don't expect the 27 W backup lamp to be that bright.

If you think in terms of usable light, then yes they are brighter.
The whiter the light, the more usable light you have to work with.

I installed mine this weekend and I'm happy with them. They are not WAY brighter but they are brighter and for $8 you can't go wrong!
I would say that the silver stars are about %20 brighter than the factory ones. Again not a lot of change but for a 10 minute upgrade and $8 it's well worth it to me.
