My truck had the hitch in the receiver from 99-2005 when I bought the truck. Needless to say IT WAS STUCK!!!
Go get yourself a can of (sorry for this) Mopar rust penetrant (WD40 stuff only better). soak the heck out of it a couple of days get a hammer and it WILL come out. That oil is the best stuff I have found.
p.s. got the oil from the dealer. didn't have to beat the heck out of the hitch either. it came out pretty easy.

Im waiting for the post that says...
"So I hooked up to my neighbors Chevy and got a running go with the pin out of the reciever. Next think you know that son of a gun come a loose and went straight through the rear window/tailgate of the chevy."
Can you imagine if they really tried to pull it out with another truck! A freakin drop bar is HEAVY. All force on the end of the chain has to go somewhere. F=ma. I would bet A would be pretty darn big his case.

Well I soaked it with PB blaster for a couple of weeks and then yesterday I hooked it to the Chevy Silverado.....
...owners JD850 dozer with a 25 foot chain . We did a couple of yanks that moved the hitch about 1/4 of an inch, then we tapped the hitch side to side with a sledge hammer.
After we did two rounds of yanking and beating ( The trailer hitch you pervs). on the third round it popped out.
We were going to park his bulldozer alongside the Silverado and make a video to look like I had hooked the chain to the Silverado but it was too cold and windy to screw around. We yanked it out and celebrated with chili-dogs and Dos Equis
