I'm getting my power through the fuse box. My CB is wired onto the ignition fuse (number thirty something) so whenever I'm running or in accessory mode my PA system is on.

JUST CLARIFYING!
Thats it? Just wire it all together, .... and enjoy? Ill worry about hiding it all when it's operational!
not directly. the only thing you will need to wire to a power source is the radio. the speaker will get its power from the radio. you will need to wire the radio into a 12v power source, either a cigarette lighter or an open spot on the fuse panel thats next to the brake release. if you dont have an open slot you can get a fuse tap from autozone that lets you wire other things into it

Hey, what is the wattage of those speakers? I went into Radio Shack today and I saw a little 25W one and the lady there said thats too powerful for a PA system. She said about 10W should be good on a truck. I also looked in the back of my CB and I see a little (I'm guessing 2.5mm or 3.5mm jack) and Is that where the speaker plugs into? Also, my CB dosen't have a "CB-PA" switch, and if that plug in the back is for the speaker, how do I switch over to it?

When you open the hood, its the big peice of metal seperating the cab from the engine bay. Throughout it there are little rubber holes where you can run wires through.

no. 10w you wouldnt hear anything. i have a 50w and its not loud enough. your cb probably doesnt have the PA function. that jack in the back is probably for an external speaker.

I have 2 10w speakers. its not bad. I wouldnt get anything more powerful unless you plan on amping them seeing as how the compact cbs only put out 5-6 watts.

ME.....WANT.....

I am looking into getting the 25W one from Radio Shack but none of them are carrying them anymore. They have the 50W but the guy there said I need external power to carry it. So I guess I need to get a new CB since mine dosen't have the switch?
