Wht alarm are you running???

I am wanting ot know what alarm all of you on here are running??? I am wanting to get one with a 2way reciver with display that also has a AUX function that I can hook up my power windows to. Is that possible? I know the titans come stock with this function and was wanting know if there was an aftermarket alarm that I could get that would do the same.

Now that I've upgraded my sound system, I am curious about this as well. I'd like to get a good alarm system, but I'd like to see what most members here are using.

Tons of us have gone with the Code Alarm CA-670 system bought from Travis at www.kcautosound.com Travis sells his systems pre-wired for a Ford vehicle and comes with detailed installation instructions and his tech help. The 670 is capable of arming and disarming with the keypad on the side of the vehicle.

I talked to him yesterday and he told me that the new 1 mile range system from Code is out now. It's the SRT9000 system that has a kick #ss video screen remote but it does not work with the keypad. He has like 20 pictures of the unit on his site. It does things like programming a certain time you want it to start, program what parking lot your vehicle is parked in like at a stadium (A29, B13, etc).

The new SRT6700 system that is very similar to the CA670 is supposed to be out in mid-November. He told me that this one shows that it will be compatable with the keypad on the door.

This is all by memory of what he had told me about them. I recommend you hit him up for any more info.

On a side not he told me yesterday that he became and authorized retailer for Rockford Fosgate and Panasonic as well and has some smoking deals on the new Strada navigation system.

I am running the Viper 791XVR. Bad *** system and they also have an upgraded 1 mile range unit. DEI makes so many aftermarket products that that will prolly be the best bet. I have installed many of them and have had nothing but raves with the DEI systems. I think Code is good and Compustar but i prefer the DEI's better...

viper, it took me three days to install because my wife says im a perfectionist. has the module for the windows to roll up and down and also open and close the sunroof. lcd screen shows when the truck is running, windows up or down and have started it from 9/10 of a mile away. still have the factory alarmy hooked up also and the keypad can activate and deactivate the viper. i have never used a dei yet but i love the features of the viper

Just to let you guys know I talked to Travis today and the new 1 mile range SRT6700 system is available to him on Oct 15. This system seems to be the step up model for the CA670. He thinks the systems will even share the same harnesses which would be cool to upgrade to the system to the newer version with 1 mile range. This system shows to be compatible with the keypad on the door for arming and disarming.

Also available right now for your Viper 791 lovers is the Code Alarm SRT9000 system. This system features a LCD video remote that shows video images similar to the Viper system but according to Travis is not compatible with the keypad on the door. He has like 20 or so pictures of this one on his site now.

dirty0: which viper do you have and how did you manage to hook it up to the factory keypad, from what I have researched and been told by numerous people, the only alarm that was capable of doing this was the Code Alarm 760 that travis sells over at KC autosound. if you got your viper hooked up to do this please let me know how
