i thought i posted this but i can't find it lol....but do you know if your tbars are cranked up all the way?? not sayin it doesn't look killer but j/w cuz when i do mine (hopefully do mine lol) i want it to sit just a bit more level maybe another 1/2" up front...truck looks great though don't get me wrong

got the truck started this morning. put some new oil in it and new wix filter and drover her on the trailer...just got home from dumping it off at the body man with a box full of parts lol...he said he's pre busy but should be done with it by the end of may, then i just got to bolt my little **** back on(inner fenders, wipers, cowl, etc.)

also i'll be a maybe for the end of may weekend get together proposal thing...i told speedway i would work that saturday night from like 5-10(free shirt, skeeter barnes and you get to look at vintage cars in the musuem and what not while getting paid, i couldn't say no lol), then i found out i might be goin to topeka for the drags that same day so idk wats all goin on yet ha

Weshova, no problem. Bars are not cranked up all the way. Good eyes, it does set 1/2 inch lower up front. When I cranked them to level, it was before the wheels, tires, lift and aal. I was sitting at 39" from ground to fender before it went in. Now, IIRC, it sets at 44" up front and 44.5" in the back. I'm sure it's the aal that is causing that difference. Anyway, the shop techs recommended to leave the t-bars where they were at, to maintain some ride quality. I originally wanted it to be level, but am now digging the rake on it. Kind of has a puller truck look to it, to me anyway.

Get-together date?

OK, after reviewing the posts, it looks to me like a good time to meet could be Sunday, June 7th. Maybe try like 4-5pm at Mahoney? Do some grilling? I haven't done anything at Mahoney, so maybe someone knows if they have grilling areas and such there? What do you guys think?

That's a great idea jump_N. That date would be just fine for me. I've never even been to Mahoney before so I'm in! Sounds like a good time.

On a side note, I just got a call about 2005_silverf150's truck.....seems he won't be lifting it after all......traded it in for a Mustang I guess.

So if anyone wants to buy my old 6" pro comp lift, it's for sale. So are the brand new 35x12.50x18 nitto mud grapplers he bought. If you know of anyone interested in these parts, let me know and I can get a hold of them for you or could try to PM him.
I would be more than happy to assist anyone interested in the lift install if they wanted to tackle it themselves or could work ya a deal if you wanted Anderson Ford tech's to install it.
I'm sure he will let us know of the recent trade sooner or later.

The 7th should work for me, not too sure if anything is going on yet. I haven't been to Mahoney in a long time but we have trucks so I bet we could probably manage to bring a grill in the back of one if we really need to do that.

I think the 7th would work for me as well. I'm not quite sure if I've got anything going on yet, but I doubt it.

Welcome aboard wagner01!! Not sure if I've seen you post in here before or not but glad you found us. Where are you located?? If you just joined in, we are currently trying to pick a date to do a local get-together. Hope you can make it. The more local members we have the better!

I'm honestly not sure what he's asking - I originally sold it to him and now he sold his truck. So the member 2005_silverf150 is the one who has it for sale. Could try to PM him and I will try to call him and find out and let you know as well. If I see your information correctly though, you have a 2001 F-150?? This 6" pro comp lift is for a 2004-2008 body style only, just so you know. Guess I failed to mention that in the above post.

The silver truck (2007) in my signature pic is when I had the lift installed on my lease truck.

I am in for the 7th, and I am sure they have a spot for grilling. I can go up there and try to stake out a spot for us to do it sometime this weekend or next weekend before the get together.

Well, since I didn't do any of the work myself, it wasn't a PIA for me, other than writing a check I know I couldn't begin to do the work required for it, that's why I let someone who knows what they are doing have the job.
And yes, it is the Olsen Auto service in Blair that did my exhaust. Tim, the owner, did a great job. Highly recommended. I know he says he does lifts for jeeps and such, you may want to check with him about the body lift and/ or the suspension lift. Tell him that I sent ya!!

I'm 50/50 on the 7th. I'm going to be in Fremont 5/6/7 for a Lutheran Synod conference though... lol. I get back from there around noon on the 7th, need to see what the Mrs will be up to, I may bring her and the crumb crunchers along.
