Anyone in the Omaha Nebraska area?
Well, for those interested, looks like me and 2 co-workers (both drive f-150s also but not a part of our forums....yet) are going to make the drive down to Firth to go 4 wheeling in a private prairie section that 4 Wheel Pioneers have set up. So if anyone is interested, we are leaving work (Anderson Ford) at 6pm when we get off work and heading down highway 77.
Tomorrow I plan on being at the actual event (see my earlier posts for the link to the details and location) I'm guessing around noon. If anyone is interested in meeting up at the event or prior to the event let me know. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Trails were pretty fun I guess. Nothing too fancy - although the 2 stock trucks that went with me both got stuck once or twice. I managed to get around pretty easily and not put myself into too bad of situations I couldn't get out of with my own power. It was pretty fun though. Would be even better to go out there after it rains and it's a little sloppy. Had 2 mud pits, 1 pretty extreme and 1 pretty easy. Here are a few pics of me pulling out the stock '05 with stock tires. The other truck is a 2003 stock FX-4 with 33" KM2's. He loved the tires - they did pretty good in getting him around. Went through the easier mud pit in 2wd with no problem.
It was mostly Jeeps though - some pretty bada$$ ones at that. Besides our 3 F-150's, there was only 2 other full size pickups there I believe.

Cool. I was in Kearney so I missed out.
Did you go to the expo on Sat.? If so, were there many vendors or anything? Just a couple things to look at or what?
I am excited that it's raining right now though.

I've been somewhat busy doing nothing on my vacation week. Got new tires, Bridgestone revo 287-70-17's put on yesterday. Today I put some Infinity components in my doors, hopefully tonight/ tomorrow, I get my Pioneer HU and amp put in. Thank God these F150 doors are pretty forgiving with speaker placement. I put 6.5's in the doors, made my own adapter plates with 1/2" mdf. Took a couple tries to get it right on the first door, 2nd one went much faster. Speakers help out, but the factory radio sucks so bad, I can't wait to get it together. Later, Jumpn
Sorry, no pics yet. The blue coating is still on my white letter tires, haven't had a chance to wash yet:o
Just got my head unit in. I'm leaving out of town tomorrow, and the kids are home from school today, so didn't leave me time to do my amp. Just glad I have some tunes and can use my Ipod again. I haven't even adjusted any eq settings, or even learned how to use the head unit yet for that matter.

Well I get my truck back today. I can't wait to see how it turned out the guy said he was extremely happy with how it turned out. So we will see, but I do know I don't like not having my truck. I damn near killed me, I swear. I appreciate my F150 a million times more now....

Ya I am 100% happy with the repair. There is absolutely no way you can tell that it ever happened. Well almost, the only thing I noticed is some fine sanding scratches still in the clear. I will buff those out after the 90 day cure period. After that there will be no trace of that accident.
