Nah...

Talked to my metal guy, no inserts until next week...

Also, my code remote start is pissing me off. It goes into some sort of loop starting, shutting off, starting again. I need to get Travis to swap me units. I'm tired of waiting for the replacement unit.

Krohbar I would just call him direct, I had an issue with my code box and he sent the thing in and it took two weeks for me to get it back but when I did it had the 2.0 software on it, and I have had no issues with my srt9000 since then. I don't know what model you have but I am sure they have updated software now.

Weshova looks like a fun little project, I am guessing that is going to be your trailer to pull the car?

I've called him plenty, keeps saying he is going to have one dropped shipped from Code, although I looked on his website last night, says he has the srt5500 in stock ready to ship. He gets another call today, and gets the situation resolved today. 4 months is waaay to long.

Ok that is a little to long, I can't believe it took that long. I don't care if it is codes fault or his, but someone should have got you your unit back. I guess I won't complain about my 3 weeks(even though I called and pestered him every single day after he said he would have it shipped). My guess is code is draggin their feet and not really caring how fast it gets shipped out. I would just tell him you want a new unit or your money back so you can get a properly functioning unit.

We plan to have some friends and family over for that traditional Memorial Day BBQ. I am guessing about 15-20 people. We have a very large family.

I have to work tomorrow.....

So only a 2 day weekend for me. Oh well - get done by 3 pm so that's not too bad I guess. Having girlfriend's family out to our place for a bbq/birthday get-together on Sunday. That's about it. Hope to work on the truck some more at some point. Lots of small things I want to accomplish.

Sounds like we all will be able to stay busy and maybe even get to enjoy a little R&R this weekend as well.

Just out of curiosity does anyone on here know of someone that could do a little TV repair for cheap? I have a Tv that has a convergence problem and just seeing if there is someone that could get this done for parts + a little extra. Don't really want to take it in because it would be over $300 probably.

Well, just got off the phone w/ Travis. I am duping the Code SRT5500 for this Compustar unit:

Something else to do... ROFL Hopefully it won't take long to swap out the units.

Oh yeah, and somehow get the remnants of an exploded silverstar out of my drivers side fog light...
