I still live in Hampton. I used to live off of fox hill. Now I am off Saunders by Newport News. Ive seen your white truck around fox hill all the time and over at some shop. How do you like the 6.5' bed on the new one? I have not seen your new one on the road yet. Oh, Where did you go to play in all that snow? I'm dying to try out the new E-locker! How does the truck ride with the lift and tires and what is the MPG like? I'm getting around 18. I'm also going to buy a raptor 4 wheel drive selector **** hoping to be able to lock the year end in two wheel drive. I let everyone know how it goes.
yea i thought i saw that truck up off saunders the other day. I live in fox hill, the guy i sold my white truck to lives in the area too. He's a young high school kid, his dad bought the truck for him. I heard he's been telling people he did all the mods to the truck himself...lol.
I love the long bed, that extra foot seems to me to be a big difference. I like that i can lay completly in the bed with the tailgate up, i got a bedrug, so its nice and soft to even sleep on if i wanted too. Turning radius is a little bigger with this truck vs my 01, o well i just hop the curbs when making u-turns on small streets.
Those snow pics are up in McHenry MD, up in the mountains near the Wisp ski resort. We go up there every year for the Deep Creek Dunk for special olympics. Puts out polar plunge in VA Beach to shame seeing us dive into a frozen lake with a hole cut into it. It was a blast driving that thing up there, we got 3ft of snow in like 2 days, theres more pics in my gallery. used the E-locker a few times just to try it out, but never really needed it. I did use the locker a few times on the beach, pulling a couple people out. Its nice to have the locker in the sand to get the truck moving, but once its moving it wasnt needed.
The truck rides pretty nice, probably comparable to stock. MPG is another story, 11.5 in the city. But that huge 36gallon tank keeps it going for a while. And ive had it almost a year and only put like 4600 miles on it, and alot of that was driving to MD and back...o and the outer banks. 18mpg would be pretty sweet.
I would love to be able to lock the rears in 2wd, let me know how that goes.

Has anyone signed up for the oct 23rd tes drive event? If so I signed up for the 11:00 am drive but I will be there all day. Does anyone want to meet up and follow one another to the event?
Ruffn-it
I will let you know how the install goes once I price out the selecter ****.
All the Hampton roads f150 owners should get together for a meet and greet. What does everyone think about that?
